We dance around the truth
In hopes it won’t convict us
Comfortable in our own complacency
The false hope is what strikes humanity
In this world where every sin has been amplified and God has been minimized
We’ve learned to despise the only good we’ve ever known
My heart shatters at this fact,
That we settle for anything less
Than what God has for us
Maybe the greatest wonder of all
Was how people rejected
The one being who can truly love, heal and save their soul
Maybe one day we will see
The greatest mystery of all
Was the love of Christ, that He freely gave to you and me.
