The Perfect World

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

In perfect unison, the angels and all the saints praise the Most High God.

There it is. So wondrous, so beautiful. The peacefulness surpasses all understanding like God always promised. I look around and nothing fades. There are no shadows for everything is illuminated by the glory of God. Even the wind shouts in joyous praises to God. It all lives and breathes, for Him. I look down and see the bright green grass. Even the grass we stand on is praising God. I reach down, surprised by the weightlessness of my glorified body and pluck a piece of grass from the ground. Immediately, a new blade arrives in its place. Nothing perishes. I look up into this seemingly three-dimensional world and am surrounded by magnificent colors; they are endless and do not exist in the physical realm of Earth. This perfect world is unfathomable by nature. Its beauty surpasses the ability to adequately describe in words.

One day we will see, and truly see. My God, how I cannot wait for the day.

Human beings suffer themselves to the point of spiritual deprivation because we often put our trust in worthless things, idols even. No wonder suicide and depression rates are through the roof. Many souls are lost and wondering when they will be made whole. They crave it. We all do. Although, it is not until we make the decision to place our faith fully in Jesus Christ, that we can experience that freedom. He frees us from our carnality.

This Earthly world is tainted by sin, yet all of creation bears witness that there is a God and we are in a battle of good and evil. The Earth is a battleground, and things are only intensifying. There is an underlying layer of angelic and demonic beings battling against each other for the souls of humans. Angels are God’s messengers, looking to minister to His beloved creation. Demons have no source of love in them. They hate God and all of His creation. Out of spite and jealousy, they look to deceive and destroy the very beings God loves so much; us.

At our root, humans are at enmity with God. Our carnality does not receive the holiness of God, unless our hearts are humble enough to accept Him.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

This is the reason the gospel offends so many people. Jesus, willing to save us from the very thing that’s killing us; sin? How can it be? He doesn’t leave us in the same state we were once in before. He transforms our hearts, minds and our souls into the likeness of Himself.

This is our inheritance to those who place their trust fully in Christ. The Lord is shaking the world to wake them from their slumber, as a family member would do if you’re sleeping while the house is on fire. All that was testified in the scriptures, is unfolding before our eyes. Repent and trust in Jesus. He is soon returning. Either step all the way into His house or don’t. But you can’t have both. Remember, the devil owns the fence.

We must be pillars for Christ. Strong and unwavering in our faith.

Psalm 1:3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

The tree is constantly absorbing the life-giving river of life; Jesus. He is the renewable source that strengthens us and gives us life. Unlike the chaff, he is not easily swayed by the seasons of life. He produces good fruit in and out of season. Meditating on God’s law day and night (Psalm 1:2). Be transformed by the renewing of your mind by heading to the voice of God, lest your mind be darkened. Bring Heaven to Earth here in your life now so you can have Him also in your passing. Believing, receiving and accepting Christ; that you may be transformed.

Soon, we will be home and out of this ‘waiting room’. Jesus will lead us into our eternal destiny.

Revelation 21:1-8 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Let’s pray

God help us to be increasingly sensitive to the Spirit of God and to the spiritual realm in this hour. Lord, give us the eyes to truly see you in all your glory and splendor. Strengthen our faith in you. For we know that without faith, it is impossible to please you (Hebrews 11:6). Turn our eyes from worthless things (Psalms 119:37) and teach us what we cannot see. If we have practiced iniquity, help us to cease from it and turn away from such actions (Job 34:32). Alpha and Omega, you are here now and we trust that you are coming back soon. Hallelujah. Let us rejoice and warn others as we await your glorious return, amen.
